what a freak. this is one of those music videos that you kind of wish you could unwatch. (the tiny’s last weekend is another one — if you like the song i highly recommend not watching the video. it’s just weird, and not beautiful.) there’s just something weird about music videos that have nothing to do with the lyrics of the song (what can we call these, anti-narrative?). she could’ve been anybody singing any song.
compare robyn’s music videos, for instance. those are gorgeous. oh, and pogo’s!
