I went to a Joe Pug concert on Friday in Ft. Worth with my sister and a couple friends. It was a great show, and lived up to my expectations. Joe’s stage-presence and skill has grown since I saw him in Phoenix a couple years ago. He played a very stripped down version of “The Great Despiser” the eponymous song of his album released last year. Luckily for you, it was filmed, very well; enjoy.

A lot of you guys liked Once (the movie) right? If you like it, you probably like it for the music. And if you liked the music, you’ll probably like “Barton Hollow” by The Civil Wars.
I fondly recall Anne was on my side with Once. Still, Anne, you might like this. It’s listenable, and is free of the baggage that Once had from being both a music video and a film.
