and is it that surprising that after wanting
to be Mark Zuckerberg and Mary Tetzlaf
was going to be Facebook, I decided not to do that at all?
I ended up entering into a party costumed
as none other than the hilarious and multi-tasking
(and not as racist as they say he is) Huck Finn.
for the equation I got a pipe (functional),
jeans, suspenders (must have), shoes like
Sercer’s shoes (you know the ones I be talking about),
a straw hat (incredibly deteriorated and dilapidated),
and some hipster glasses (I couldn’t see without them).
Candy, beer, Jager, Cigs, and a little singing and dancing to the 90’s.

That lady was helpful, scary, yes, but helpful.
And I chuckled out loud (they might have thought I was crazy)
in the Arizona Art Supply store.
I needed Acrylic paint for tomorrow.

Banalities…all is banal
The State Fair has a bit of spill over garbage;
it makes water on the wall in the alley across the street.
But the sunrise and sunset and moonrise
And moonset happens each and ev’ry day.
And yet we pass this by without a thought.
And damnit that is in pentameter.
